The Seward Fourth of July Celebration 2010 Parade Awards
The parade awards are funded by a grant/donation from the GFWC Seward Woman’s Club, GFWC Seward Junior Woman’s Club Holiday Bazaar and the Seward VFW Auxiliary Post #7745. The awards are judged at the review stand in front of the Seward County Courthouse and the winners are announced at the Bandshell at 6:00 pm following the parade. The trophies are on display at the Seward Civic Center, 616 Bradford Avenue in Seward and can be claimed at the Chamber of Commerce Office on July 5th! The trophies were sponsored through donations by the GFWC Seward Junior Women’s Club through their Holiday Bazaar, the Seward VFW Auxiliary Post #4755 and the GFWC Seward Woman’s Club. The trophies are at the Seward Civic Center and can be claimed at the Chamber of Commerce office.
Judges for the annual parade included Stephen Pipkin of Austin, Texas, Darin and Mari Anne Worthington of Kansas City (Prairie Village) Kansas, Rosie Hanneke of College Park, Maryland and Amy Gausman of Washington, DC.
Clark Kolterman served as the emcee.
